I'll be remembered as that crazy kooky woman that raised the three finest women you ever knew........
- What do you see when you are looking out of the window closest to you? Ivy climbing, rain falling, trees blowing and clouds whisping by.
- Who was the last person coming into your room? Dan was the last person (besides me) to walk into *this* room. Jackie was the last person (besides me) to walk into my bedroom.
- What is the most predominant colour around you? Blue or green. Green, I guess.
- What is right behind you? A bookshelf.

I've often wondered that. Like... is the color purple that I see the same color purple that you see? I mean, we all CALL it purple.... Because I mean, seriously... how freaky would it be if we all actually had the same favorite color, we just call it different things?!
2. What kind of sounds are the most annoying?

3. When walking through a store, do you shop with your hands by touching/feeling the texture of things?

Shawshank Redemption, Crash, Lost in Translation, O Brother Where Art Thou? and Phantom of the Opera
2. Name four areas of interest you became interested in after you were done with your formal education.
Bible Study, Football, Cooking and Pottery
3. Name three things you would change about this world.
Families would be a privilaged place, people would stop killing each other, respect and responsibility would still be values our children would learn.
4. Name two of your favorite childhood toys.
Uhm.... I don't remember being much into "toys". I did love paper dolls because I would make clothes for them out of mom's old wallpaper books.... and I had a plush Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man that I slept with every night.
5. Name one person you could be handcuffed to for a full day.
Bobby Goren! LOL
Alice told me that since it was so easy she was going to make it for herself every day for lunch. *THAT* should be interesting. She's been funny lately - every meal I make, she tells me that it's the best food she's ever had and that she'll eat it at all the meals all the time. She ate THREE salmon patties last night. That's right, THREE! Heidi managed to eat a whole one herself, leaving one each for Dave and me. That's alright, it left room for chocolate cake! Jackie wouldn't consider touching one, which worked out because she had some lunch leftover that she hadn't finished, so at least she had *something* to eat.
I've been post crazy lately, I don't know what my damage is. LOL, Damage. Dave will ask me, "What's your damge, Heather?" and Alice will say, "Daddy, don't you remember her name is Dora?" heehee.
Heidi's been fussy - she MUST be getting more teeth. She's up to 6 already, but she's been fevery and slobbery and today she's got diarrhea. Poor thing, it hurt when I wiped off her bottom, she screamed and tensed up. I felt SO BAD. I just laid a cold washcloth on her bottom, and then put some aquaphor on her, and I think that helped. She made some kind of pseudo-moaning sound, but as long as it wasn't screaming in pain, I'm just *phew*!

It's the Gift of a Friday Five!
What was the best gift you ever received?
Aside from people (of which all of my family and friends are a gift!), I'm gonna go with... my sapphire ring. I love it SO much.
What was the worst gift you received?
I'm not going to answer this, because obviously everyone that takes the time to give me a gift has at least taken the time to at least THINK of me, and that's all that matters.
What gift did you wish for, but never got?
Urm... nothing? I wanted a new back door this summer, but had to get all new brakes and rotors on the car instead, so that kind of sucks.
What was the best present you gave?
I'd like to think all my presents were good. Last year I made them all from my own well of creativity, and that was something special for me, whether or not anyone actually liked what they got.
What was the worst present you gave?
I picked a fight with Dave on his birthday once, so that was bad...
1. If you were going to remake a movie, what would it be and who would you cast in the roles?
I would remake White Christmas, and I would cast Richard Gere as Bob Wallace and Gerry Butler as Phil Davis... and as far as the sisters, hrm....Bette Midler as Betty Haines (because I love the Divine Miss M, and it's been so long since she's done anything!), and Renee Zellweger as Judy Haines... (because she's about as skinny as Vera Ellen!)
2. If you could turn a book into a movie, what would it be and who would you cast in the roles?
I would turn The Angle of Repose into a movie. I would cast Vincent D'Onofrio as Lyman, Kathy Griffin as his nurse, Leonardo DiCaprio as Oliver, Claire Danes (maybe? i reserve the right to change my mind) as Susan, and Shia LeBouf as the young man Oliver takes on, but I can't remember his name.
3. If you were going to turn a video game into a movie, what would it be? Would it be animated or live-action?
Live-Action Tetris, baby! ...ooh ooh! or Family Feud the Movie! LOL!
4. You're going to turn a book into a TV series. What is it? Why would it make a good TV show?
The Count of Monte Cristo because it's too long to make into one two hour movie and get all of the crucial elements into the story. It would make a great TV show because each episode takes you to a different time and place, but yet they're all connected.
5. Do you generally prefer the movie versions or the novel versions of works?
Books. Almost always. I think it happened ONCE that I liked a movie better than the book (Beaches... the book was TERRIBLE).
1. You're holding a dinner party and can invite three famous people from the past or present who would they be?
*Edit* I changed my mind. I'm feeling incredibly superficial because I didn't put Jesus or Mother Theresa or anything like that. Let's just say that I have faith I'll get to spend my time with them in the next life. =)
My answer to the question is: Eddie (for the laughs), Bobby (for his quirky brain... I know we could be friends!) and Elliott (again, just to look at).
2. You have the opportunity question someone about something you've always wanted to know and receive a truthful answer, what would your question be?
Oh wow.... You know, knowing anything different that I know now would probably change my life in how many unforseen ways. I'm happy being ingnorant, thank you.
3. If you could change one thing in your life what would it be?
Hrm.... more money, less work. Not really lazy... this is just hypothetical, right?
4. If you could save other peoples lives by an completing an act that would lead to your own death would you do it?
That would totally depend on who and how. Would I bring on my own death to save my children? Absolutely. Some random person in, say, Nebraska or Sweden that I've never met or heard of? Can't say that I would.
5. Would you commit murder if you knew you could get away with it?
No.
This ain't no game, foo', this is the Friday Five!

Euchre, duh. (YES! I'm from the Midwest! ALRIGHT!?) Also a HUGE fan of Nertz.
3. Do you like to play games on the computer or on a gaming system?

I like the question games, like Jeopardy and Family Feud. I also like Tetris (I love it despite the fact I suck at it), and Hot Wheels Turbo Racing (which I love AND I'm good at!).

1. What is your all time favorite book?
This one's easy. The Count Of Monte Cristo. I could read it again and again, although really, I just wish it never ended.
2. What is your all time favorite movie?
Shawshank Redemption. I'll even stop and watch it if I'm clicking through channels and it's on TBS or something.
3. What are you reading right now?
Storm Over the Land by Carl Sandburg
4. What is your favorite show on tv?
SVU, hands down. Followed very closely by CI and Rescue Me. And my favorite sitcom is The Office.
5. What is the last movie you saw in the theater?
Maybe it was Chicken Little? or The Family Stone. Either way, it sucked and it's been a loooooong time.
1. How are you stereotypically female?
I cry a lot. I have tons of shoes (seriously, like 50 pairs or something). I love having my toenails painted. And looking at George Clooney can make my knees buckle.

I'm very much a female.

2. Are you an introvert or an extrovert?
I swing both ways.
3. What is your favorite non-sexual thing you like to do with the love of your life?
lately, riding our bikes.
4. Name one quirky habit your partner does that either annoys you or makes you grin.
When he sits down in tthe wing chair to eat a bowl of cereal, he always sits the bowl on a pillow. I don't know why I think that's amusing, but I do.
5. Do you believe in monogamous relationship?
You bet I do!
Tada! Friday Five:
Wait 'til the Weekend
Monday was magical because... Dave came down to have dinner with my parents and my brother was actually home from work and we really had a great time.
Tuesday, what a tiring day, because... It was the day after Monday, when I had to go to work and take Heidi to the doctor.
My Wednesday was wild & crazy because... I have three children, 5 and under. *Every* day is wild and crazy.
Thursday made me think about... How lucky I am to have wonderful friends (and friends of friends) who are lots of fun!
Friday is the most fun because of... this week I got to do some Easter Bunny shopping while the girls are with their grandpa!
